HMA VPN Connection Fails During Signup

I have tested HMA independently and it works fine.

However, when I select "Enable HMA" in Account Signup HMA fails everytime.

I have had to disable HMA in Account Signup and connect HMA manually.

did you have a TV with our team ?

if so the issue that we are facing is when we try to do a TV and work with HMA then it kicks us out of TV

have you tried to increase the time out time?

TV meaning TeamViewer?

No I have not had a TV session with support and yes TV will get shut down once the HMA VPN get's connected.

I can take a video of what is occurring and send a link for your team to view.

If possible then yes please do so - It should give us a better understanding of what is going on

Just to confirm - You are opening the VPN - connecting to a proxy before running the SHB ?

Sorry...my understanding was if the HMA option was selected in SHB it would start HMA and login (provided I saved my HMA credentials in HMA).

Based on your response I am wrong and I need to connect to the HMA VPN and then run SHB's Account Creation?

This is what I have done in the past.

I assumed that the HMA process was similar to the Tor process where if selected everything would run and connect automatically once
Account Creation was started.

Yes I think I actually made wrong notes in the video :-(

What we need to do is open HMA VPN and connect it - we also need to ensure our credentials are saved -

When you start the SHB then it will work with HMA and call a new ip for each profile or retry failed

hope this helps get it working.

Tor is actually a little different - We call Tor ourselves as we work with it only for our requests - the VPN on the other hand is different and takes control of all requests - as a result we want to ensure users start it themselves first
