Hi Spainops

thanks for the post

Ok ive seen the video -

Before we click on start posting, we need to ensure we firstly select the groups and the projects we want to work with, We can also select multiple projects and multiple groups.

Once the process has been started then if you want to change the projects or groups - then you will need to click stop first.

The system is at its most powerful when you have multiple projects and groups loaded - as it will mix posts and randomize the accounts it posts to.

Hope this helps

feel free to ask for a tutorial should you feel it will make it clearer

thanks

Thanks for your reply

Still a tad confused !. I clicked stop and then start posting and yes that group now starts posting BUT does that mean the other group
is no longer posting ? I thought that multiple groups can post at the same time ?. Perhaps a video would be a
good idea explaining this.

Thanks

Si

HI Si

Ok - leave it with me and I will get a video done for you.

Let me explain,

When we run the submitter then we have coded it to work with 3 threads - what this means is that it will post to hellotxt, posterous and ping.fm at the same time - then it will delay before posting more.

The way we have handled the groups - is to allow you to create many - select all your groups - and projects and then have the script rotate between the groups, mix and match the projects etc.

We also have it coded based on time stamp - so that we dont post more to one group and less to the other.

as you only have 1 connection in your group - then this means that you will only see one thread at a time

I will get a video done hopefully this week sometime

thanks

Thanks - look forward to the video - if you can clarify what we should see and how we can check what is posting and how to get all projects (and their groups) posting at the same time it would be great

Hello,

What I am getting, i  do not think is by design:

Let's say I have 5 projects and 5 groups selected.

Let it Run on random, and every time it posts, rotates only between 3 of the groups.

The Number of groups and projects i have selected, is irrelevant - the SHS rotates and submits projects to only 3 groups ( the same groups) each submitting session.

Anyone else has the same?

Did the video ever get shot ?

The only way I can get this to work for all projects is by selecting all groups - so that
way it rotates around but the feed posts (in my case) get mixed within the groups which
isn't ideal ie
project a could get posted in the accounts of group b and vice versa

HI Si

Thanks for the post -

With regards to feeds and regular project then they have been designed not to get mixed -

Feed projects will only get posted to feed groups, We have also coded it so that bot can run parallel to one another - This is why you have 2 settings - one for regular projects and one for feed projects.

If however you are suggesting that you would like the ability to assign which projects work with which groups then we can look to get something done -

Feel free to make this suggestion in the suggestions section and the team will work from them

thanks

Hey Admin,

have you figured something about it, what it might be causing it?

Thanks,

Hi,

You said - "If however you are suggesting that you would like the ability to assign which projects work with which groups then we can look to get something done" - Yes that is exactly what I would like to see.

Have a great Easter

Cool

Let me think of a way how we can do this -

If we create groups before the projects then I can get a menu appear in the projects where users can then make notes of what group/s this project should get posted to -

Let me see how we can do this

I'm having some strange problem with random switching between groups. This is my first run and I did install the latest update.

Last night I selected 23 groups (hello and ping account in each group) and 9 projects with spinned content. Setting is at random, delay 1200s, number of posts 500, proxies assigned to groups (2 groups per proxy). I left it running over night and found this morning that only 3 out of 23 groups are being used / rotated (there's a check-mark by each of the 23 groups so they should all participate... right?). Another strange thing is that all 23 account credentials are being rotated between those 3 groups, obviously I'm getting a lot of failed log-ins and no posting. Projects appear to be picked up randomly so this part seems to be fine... I wonder if they banned those accounts already.

Any solutions?
Thanks

hi

Thanks for pointing this out

im having my developers look into this now - I know we previously fixed a randomization issue.

Regarding the miss match of the emails and passwords then how could you see this? through the results grid that the software displays?

It would be very important for my team to take a look at the settings.xml file -

If this is ok with you then please email the settings.xml file which can be found in the SHS application folder - Please email to support{@}socialhubsubmitter.com and please make a note of this post url too

thanks
