I already posted about this in another thread elsewhere on this forum but I thought the info fits better in the footprints section.
Also I'd like to be clear about me being n00b when it comes to posting backlinks automated.

There are 2 common ways to get URLs for the ABB. Either you scrape them yourself or you buy a list of URLs.
If you have the time and resources, go ahead and scrape them yourself. I plan on doing that from time to time aswell.
However, if you plan on buying link packages, be sure that you buy lists which can be used by the ABB because some platforms are not supported. People on this forum are selling link packages and there's no reason not to buy these as I think they are of high quality and proven to work with the ABB.

There is another option that I would like to point out in this post and it's all about link pyramids.
I use Scrapebox as a tool for this. It's easy, fast and you can get it for less than $60 through special offers on the Warrior Forum for example.
I'm not an affiliate but I mention this because I didn't know about this myself when I bought it straight from the developers and it cost me almost $100. Yes, that's right.. I could've gotten both the ABB and SB for that price. Laugh all you want, I've made dumber mistakes before.

Anyway, back to link pyramids.
You want to build your own pyramids for your websites, right? This is quite a task. You have to scrape links, weed out the sucky ones, sort them according to PR, test them, remove duplicates, combine them and whatever. After that you still have to start building your first pyramid.

So why not just buy pyramids? They can be found priced from $10 to $15 and generally consist out of 300 high PR and 3000 low PR profiles.
If you order a link pyramid, you will save time and money because 1 pyramid is going to made for you and doesn't cost anything for decaptcha services.

A link pyramid mostly will be finished within a week and after it's finished you'll get a report (check your builder's advertisement for this!) which are 2 .txt files. One for the high PR profiles called Tier 1 or Layer 1 and another for the low profiles that link to the high profiles...Tier 2 or Layer 2.
This is where Scrapebox comes in handy as a tool. Open SB and there is an option to import a list. SB also has a lot of other features like filters and removing duplicate URLs and domains. I found that from the 3000 profile URLs there are about 1/10 duplicate domains. This shouldn't be a problem but I like to remove them anyway to compile lists with unique domains. If you want to you can also filter out URLs containing words like pr0n, xxx or anything else you wouldn't like to be associated with.
This feature comes in very handy for us since your pyramid lists contain URLs from different types of platforms and the ABB goes through 1 platform at a time.

The URLs you will get in your pyramid lists point to a user profile page and will look somewhat like this:
Code:
http://333-888.ru/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=283061;sa=summary
This is an SMF board profile page and it wasn't made using the ABB but I think with Xrumer or SeNuke from the looks of it.

Code:
index.php?action=profile
This part of the URL is specific for SMF boards. Using SB we can filter out any URLs NOT containing this footprint. After filtering we can export this list.

Import the original list again and filter other platforms like phpBB for example.
Code:
profile.php?mode=viewprofile
This part of the URL is specific for phpBB boards. We can do this to extract lists to use with the ABB according to supported platform.
Just check the profile URLs in your browser and determine if the platform is supported by the ABB. Often the page has info about the platform in the footer of the page or in the page's source code.

The profile URLs can be used straight away in the ABB, no use to trim to root since the profile pages have links for registering and logging in.

You can buy multiple pyramids and combine the extracted lists or specific types of pyramids... like high PR pyramids or something.
If you want to combine lists, you are better off ordering pyramids from different suppliers because I've noticed that a supplier often uses lots of the same domains.

Many of these URLs are tried and tested. This results in quite a high success rate but it also means that these URLs probably are used a lot for spamming. Just check the URL that I posted above and change a number in the profile number and you'll probably land on a profile page made by an automatic poster. I don't know if this has any negative effects. Maybe Abs has a little info on this.

This is how I've been using the ABB so far. As I said in the beginning of this post, I'm very n00b so maybe I'll come up with some more or better tips a few months down the road. Anyway, I've proven that this is a doable strategy for n00bs so go for it.

Hello! I am so curious. I would just like to ask if it is really good to buy links? I have so many plans and that could be the last thing I could think if ever I don't succeed. Advice please.
