Hil all,
You'll need to forgive me, because these questions will probably sound really obvious.  Sorry about this.  I purchased ABB a few days ago, and have followed the User Guide and watched the turorials.  These have been helpful, and enabled me to get started.  I should point out that I only recently got into blogging, and am very new to the concept of backlinking.  I have chosen to set up a blog in order to drive traffic to my website.  Anyway, there's some background, here are my questions, and again, sorry if they sound really obvious:

1. What does backlinking actually do?  I realise it signs me up to sites, I become registered, but what is the benefit of backlinking - i.e. from what I can see backlinking doesn't actually send out any posts to the sites for which I've been registered.  So how does it drive traffic to my blog?  What can people see as a result of my backlink - does it paste my link at other blogs, so that people can click and come to my site?

2. Can I use backlinking for sites other than blogs, i.e. can I use it to drive traffic to my website/webstore?

3. After I've done the posting, is there a way for me to check that things have actually worked correctly?  Assuming during the posting function, I see the fields of the URL's I'm posting to, be filled out, once the entire process is done, is there a list or somthing that says for e.g. you have been successfully signed in to 80 of the 100 URL's. (perhaps the emails are the confirmation of this - but the emails are more of a check for the sign in section, not the posting section).

4. It's only been a short time since I started using ABB, but after how long should I begin to notice an increase in visits to my site?

HI

Ok lets take a look

A backlink is actually a link back to your website from another site - as the site is linking back to your site then when the search engine robots crawl the link they will see that this site is linking back to you - this is essentially telling the search engines that the site that is linking back to you is actually vouching for you - so it counts like a vote -

The whole idea about these backlinks is to let the robots crawl them - build votes for your site - use your keywords as the linkback anchor text - this will build your search engine rankings - so you will be gaining better search engine rankings which will allow users to find you through google, yahoo, bing etc

Yes you can use the ABB for any site - your own sites or even blogs

you will get given a report holding your profile links in the application folder in a file called profileurls.txt - this gets generated while posting

HI - I advice all to give any backlinking at least 3 months - however results are noted much sooner - this does however depend on many factors - such as the age of your site - the competition your targeting and of course your onsite optimization

if you read the ebook that came with the software then im sure it will help

thanks

Hi all,

Would there be any issues associated with signing up to the same sites on several occassions using a different email address (but obviously linking back to the one site, my site)?  I.e. instead of using the URL's provided by ABB only once, and signing up to each site once, is it a good idea to sign up several times to the same websites?

Also, the Day Job Shooter Blue Print makes reference to www.kwbrowse.com - I've tried accessing this over a few days, although I'm unable to view the website.  I haven't had any issues with other URL's.  Is kwbrowse still active?

Thanks for your assistance, it's hugely appreciated.

Cheers.

HI

Looks like kwbrowse is down - What a bummer

Ok regarding the sites then yes you can use them over and over again - but please do ensure you close out of the software and clear cookies before trying to signup again using a new email

thanks

Hi, just started using the software, please bear with me.

I was able to create a GMX email, and verified it is now listed in the emailaccounts txt file.  I am a bit confused at this point:

1.  Is this where I no start to verify the email, or does that step apply much further down the process, i.e., when verifying my signups?

2.  What do I do next?  I'm guessing I should navigate to the folder I created, ex., expression_myAprildata to place that into the window that says "Save Signup data" and appoint that as my storage location.  I went ahead and clicked the Start button (Arrow), and the software attempted to register to 25 sites I designated, but came up with a message to the effect that I do not have the appropriate email address.  I must have missed a step somewhere.  But which one?

3.  In one of the videos, abs, you mentioned that there will be video tutorials, which one of the vids in the forum are the "Official" tutorials for someone starting membership in mid-April?  Just asking because I want to zero in to the ones most appropriate for me.

Would appreciate some help..
Thanks.

Hi Thanks for the post

Ok - Firstly I believe the following videos would help you understand the steps involved and how to work with the software http://autobacklinkbomb.com/forum/index.php/topic,1199.0.html

After you create an email then a new file will get generated called emailaccounts.txt - This file is only generated for your reference - so that you know what email account the software generated for you.

When your working on the signup script then this script works of a file called AccountDetails.txt

This is the file that will hold your username - password and email - SO when the software attempts to signup to the sites then it will use the details you enter in this file

The file needs to be populated correctly - And is done in the following manner - one area per a line

username
emailaddress
password

So the first line you place the username you would like to signup with - this can be spinnable - then the 2nd line your email address then the 3rd your password - The videos on the link noted do show you this.

The email verification is done after you signup to the accounts -

Yes if you would like the signup details to be saved to the file you created (expression_myAprildata.txt) then you can do - Just remember when you have verified the emails and you want to post to these sites - then in the posting tab you will choose this file

hope this helps

ab's as alway i love your software just picked up auto comment bomb. noticed some are failing and I'm going one at a time.  sometimes the name is not entered.  so i lose on a blog post.  any way to fix or is there a better tutorial that I'm missing out on.  I recommend your products to everyone.  Just for some reason this one is giving me guff.  I've posted I think at least two comments in question and the only one graceful enough to respond has been Rotto.  Please if I'm doing something wrong or there is a glitch I can work around please tell me how to best utilize the software.  I love your work, have no sh*t to talk on any of it, I only want to gain the best.  Thanks, and keep up the good work.

hi helpmonkey

thanks for the post

- can you please ensure that you are using the user interface field that is labeled '# of urls in urls.txt' correctly

what you need to ensure is that you always subtract 1 from the amount of urls that you have in your urls.txt file and enter that number into the '# of urls in urls.txt' field

so if you have 5 urls in your file - then tell the software here that you have 4 - if you have 2 tell the software you have 1 and so on

this should eliminate the issue of the name or url field being missed

let me know if you need more help we can do a teamviewer session together

thanks

I am finding this software extremely difficult to use.  There is some documentation, most of which doesn't make much sense, and the software itself either doesn't work at all, or hangs up and stops running.  Absolutely NO help under the "program" itself, and no clues what the overall goal is to start with.  Then, there are strange words being used, like "spinnable", and strange acronyms like "elgg" and so forth, with no explanations for any of it.  I purchased this stuff based on decent reviews, and am now sorry that I did.  And here's the kicker...I am a 52-year old software engineer.  If it's this difficult for me to understand...wow...I have no idea how beginners will fare.  I really would like to get it working, but it is truly a mystery as to exactly what you are supposed to with it.  The manual actually doesn't make sense.  I am not making this up!  I also watched several of the videos, and the screen in them is so blurry and small, you can't see it!!  So you try following the voice instead, which is also quite difficult because of his very deep British accent.  PLEASE improve upon your product, and PLEASE help!

Sorry to hear you are having troubles.  I have used this for awhile so will try to help if I can.  Have you had a chance to sign up for anything yet?   An example of spinnable would be {thom1jones|timmyjean376|tinytot455} which would be an example of a username.  Elgg is another platform for you to get backlinks from, the others SMF, Expression Engine and MyBB

No, I couldn't get the email creation and verification stuff to work, which is the very first step in the manual, so I just went ahead and used one of my POP accounts on one of my Linux Sendmail servers (I own and operate a very small hosting outfit, with about 8 servers).  That worked, so then I try to go to the next "step", as described in the manual, but cannot even begin to figure out what he is doing or asking me to do.  Not a clue!

HI beatinger

thanks for your posts - it sounds like you are very new to using software but hay - your a software developer so this cant be the case-Maybe it the seo side of things that you dont really understand I mean you havnt ever come across terms such as spinnable  and of course the strange names such as Elgg, phpfox will sound strange to you as these are names of forum platforms.

I think the problem is in you not understanding what the software actually does and what steps are needed to get this done - If you are happy to learn somewhat then stay around and fire questions at me - I will answer and try to educate you along the way - If not then it would be best to request a refund as some learning will be needed.

What we need to do is understand each step required to obtain a backlink from these forum sites

so we will firstly need to signup -

this is what the signup script will do - it will signup to many

then we verify emails - which the email verification script does

after which we need to login to the account and post our links - this is what the posting script does

If you bought this based on the many reviews you read - then maybe give it a chance as they all cant be wrong

thanks
